Artist Statement
I like the idea of using color in the physical realm, as optical wavelengths of
light that are read by sight, in the philosophical context, as color relates to symbolism, and psychologically, as color creates
an individual emotional response. I enjoy creating abstract figurative work and narrative realism. Although my work is influenced
by both renaissance, in mythology and spiritualist themes, and impressionist’s brushwork and free flowing design, I
feel it’s important to focus on contemporary relationships with humanity in the 21st Century...
